Meditation is an important tool for self-discovery, for understanding our true needs and capacities and learn to live a life which is fulfilling and joyful. This process of self-discovery through meditation starts by applying our natural faculties of Being Present and Aware to all fields of our experience: to our body, breathing, emotions and thoughts.
During this 16 hours experiential course we will learn and train together to be present and aware of all these aspects, in ways which are very concrete and simple to apply and therefore can have a profound and lasting impact on our life.
The online course will be interactive, based on practicing together and reflecting on various experiences, with frequent Q/A sessions.
You will learn: to observe and calm the mind, to move with awareness through the Vajra Dance, to relax with your emotions, to establish healthy breathing patterns through simple physical exercises.

|16 Oct||The Body||We experientially learn what is Presence and how to apply it to our own Body first, in order to release harmful postural habits and establish a base of physical wellbeing.|
|23 Oct||The Breath||The way we breathe is of paramount importance for the quality of our life. That is because the breath connects and regulates both our Body and Mind. So first we will learn exercises to identify how we actually breathe. Second, we train to develop a fuller, more natural and fluid breathing.|
|30 Oct||The Mind||Our thoughts and concepts, along with emotions, impact directly our behaviour and determine the circumstances of our life. Here we train to recognize the thought patterns of our mind. We work toward being less distracted, less agitated, more calm and at ease.|
|6 Nov||The Calm State of Mind||Being present of our thoughts, the way they form into our mind and propel us into action, is of fundamental importance for a balanced life. In order to do that, we will apply a special method to calm the mind and slow down its habitual agitation.|
|20 Nov||Presence Through Movement & Sound: Introducing Vajra Dance||Our whole life happens in movement so we need to practically learn how to be present and relaxed. We can relax not only when we sit in meditation but while moving and coming in contact with everything around us. Here we do this through an introduction to the Dance of the Vajra.|
|27 Nov||Emotion and Movement||Emotions are a powerful force. We Learn to observe and feel how their energy unfolds at all levels of our existence, of the Body, Breathing and Mind. We continue training Presence through the Movement and Sound of Vajra Dance.|
|4 Dec||Re-educating the Mind||Too often we concentrate on the negative aspects of our life and indulge in negative emotions. By training in positive emotions, we will learn how this can have a beneficial impact on our behaviour. We continue training Presence through the Movement and Sound of Vajra Dance.|
|11 Dec||Awareness and Evolution||We revise the methods we learnt together and how to apply them in daily life, so their positive impact can be durable.
We reflect on how awareness nurtured by being present of our Body, Energy and Mind, is the stepping block for a possible individual and collective harmony, for a true Evolution of the human being.
