Monica Gentile
Born in Venice, Italy, Monica Gentile has been studying and practicing meditation in different traditions since 1983. Graduated in Venice with an M.A. In History of religions, she soon after got a university grant and was for 3 years a research scholar in Buddhism and Sanskrit language at the Sampurnanand University, in Varanasi, India.
She met her main teacher, Namkhai Norbu in 1986. From that moment till today, she dedicated to the study and practice of Dzogchen teachings under his guidance.
In 2016 she became an Instructor of meditation and started to hold related seminars and courses. In 2018 Became instructor of Breathe, a unique set of breathing techniques aimed at re-educating our organism to a fluid breathing for optimization of all psycho-physiological functions of our body.
She’s part of the Scientific Committee of International Atiyoga Foundation and coordinator of the Meditation department of the same.
